Rangitikei Helicopters has a dedicated commitment to conservation, environmental issues and sustainability for the future.  We operate under stringent NZAIA best practice guidelines to lessen our environmental impact.  We also adhere to GrowSafe best practice guidelines with all staff being GrowSafe certificated or in the process of being certificated.   Rangitikei Helicopters has been heavily involved with the Department of Conservation over the last 14 years with pest animal control, weed suppression, Kiwi relocation programmes and general transport support. A big part of our work is to reduce the spread of noxious weeds in our area, including Old Mans Beard and Pinus Contorta. Rangitikei Helicopters is involved with monitoring water quality and fish stocks in the Rangitikei catchments for Fish & Game to try and give them a better understanding of our waterways.
